Data providers

The following agencies, organizations, and collaborators have contributed their data to the SALB project. Please remember to acknowledge them when using these data.

ABS The map for Australia has been provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
UN mission in Burundi (ONUB) The map for Burundi has been provided by the Geographic Information Systems division of the UN mission in Burundi (ONUB).
Cameroon Official Web Site of the Prime Minister's Office The base map used for Cameroon was downloaded from the Official Web Site of the Prime Minister's Office.
Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI)

The base map used for Trinidad and Tobago has been provided by the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) of the Caribbean Agricultural Science and Technology Networking System

Centro Nacional de Cartografia e Teledetecção (CENACARTA) The map used for Mozambique has been provided by the Centro Nacional de Cartografia e Teledetecção (CENACARTA)
Community Development Councils (Singapore)

The base map for Singapore has been provided by the Community Development Councils.

Embassy of Andorra The base map used for Andorra was downloaded from the Embassy of Andorra to the EU, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark and Germany web site.
International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) The maps for Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala,  Guyana, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Suriname and Uruguay have been provided by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT)
CIESIN The maps for Haiti and Jamaica were provided by the Center for International Earth Science Information Network
Clearing House The map for El Salvador was provided by the Dirección General de Estadística y Censos supported by the "Proyecto Mitch Clearinghouse USGS - MARN"
ESRI The map for Belize comes from the ESRI  Data & Maps CD-rom.

The maps for Bangladesh, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau , Madagascar, Maldives, Nepal, Philippines and Sierra Leone were downloaded from the UNEP Grid Sioux Falls web site.

The maps for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden were downloaded from the UNEP Grid Arendal web site.
United States Department of Commerce The map for United States of America has been provided by the Department of Commerce, Census Bureau, Geography Division
University of Texas The base maps used for Bahrain and Saint Kitts and Nevis were downloaded from the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection of the University of Texas web site.
USGS The maps for Botswana, Kenya, Mali, Niger, Rwanda and Senegal were provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) via the Africa Data Dissemination Service (ADDS).
WHO The map for Kyrgyzstan has been provided by WHO/Europe.
